Technology is something that can take you into the modern society without any problems. Technology represents something is modern, keep pace with the development of the society. With it, you can communicate to everyone quickly and you can know exactly what is going on all over the world.
Tradition is something that is transmitted from the old days. It is the conclusions of our ancestors, who had spent many experiences and sum up for future generations. It represents what belonged to the old day and now it’s still used because it’s useful and up-to-date.
Nowadays, we are thinking about blending the technology with tradition and make it comes true. Technology can simplify tradition and tradition can improve technology. They can help each other to improve, each one have its own role to the other. But if you ask me that which is important, the answer is that tradition is more important than technology. Because if you don’t inherit any experience from the older, what can you do? Without tradition, you don’t have any basement to expand the development of the society. You can’t make any excellent progress such as the rapid extension of communicating information if the former didn’t research in this field. If you don’t respect tradition, you can’t become the useful man for society.

According to me,technology and tradition have both advantages and disadvanges.
some people think that technology is important.Because they believe technology can service and supply their requirement.First, technology creates a lot of modern equipments such as computer and mechanical robots production so they can earn profits and their country becoms rich.Second, with technology, they make new weapons that they occupy another country to wider territory and make benefits. However they don't look at the other sides,if they look at they will see that technology is very dangerous for their health and environment.Because process of production will release some poison which is reasons of polluted and enviroment their diseases.
Other people think that traditional is important. So they don't want to change method of produce, and way to economic, policy.Therefor, their country don't have ability to compete with other country. And their country will underdevelop which affect resident's life.
In sum, i think technology is more important then tradition.Although, tradition of country presents for this country, they should use technology on their tradition to develop and improve it.But they keep still national character. And we must know how to use it in order to suit with our country.

I always mail or chat with my friends. Maybe writing a letter and sending it by post-office is too luxury for me to do. My parents never do as that. It could take them many hours to write or read a letter and many days to wait a responsive letter. I didn't understand why they did it, but now i found it's necessary as well as i found tradition is more important than technology.

First, i don't say about technology can increase our live and satisfy my requirement. It makes our personality worse. The modern life makes us lazy. For instance, we say that writting a real letter takes us too time to write than a mail. It's right, but a real letter is really real. It's the time we share to write and it' has more sentiments than a mail. The letter makes me feel more happy when we receive it.

Second, we don't need technology if we don't know what it is. You don't care a fridge it you don't know that there's a fridge. The human person has many wonderful quality. Tradition make person live together and loving themselves. For example, every years ago, my neighbourhoods could know me clearly. They are more friendly and sociable to help me . Now, my next-door neighbour maybe don't know that how many people are in my house, and i don't either. No have modern technology, but they also had a happy and pleasant life. Technology now makes people live together with a doubt and personality lower. For example, there has much misappropriation and social maladies now.

The third reason is tradition don't contaminate the river or the sea and my environment. We can't lave myself in the river or canal. The simple reason is it's too dirty. For example, the Nhieu Loc canal is too smelly to respire.

The final reason is that tradition are precious experiences of older persons. We should respect it because it 's very important to create a person. With myself, i don't like the life with too much freedom, no have astriction, and there are not distances between a man and a woman. Maybe i am an asian.

Indeed, in my opinion, the human person is the most important. The problem is how we live, the problem is not how the life is, so i think tradition is more important than technology.

In my opinion, we can't determine exactly technology or tradition is more important because they modify each other. People have invented new technologies and scientific inventions which make our lives better and easier. However, they have also developed good traditions which our ancestors had found for many centuries.

Over the past few years, by technology our lives have been upgraded for higher conditions. People have invented vehicles (bikes, trains, planes, etc.) for transportation in order to diminish the time travel from places to places.

And also, people use computer technology-Internet- to communicate easily with people far away and share information. We have accessed to the lastest information that help our work more quickly.

Although a lot of new technologies and scientific inventions have been created, people still decorate things by hand like chinaware, jewelry, etc. which just is beautiful by method of tradition.

Last, nowadays e-mail is convenient for us to communicate to each other easily. According to me, it doesn’t make me feel embarrassed as I write letter to my friends or receive it. I always keep it carefully and sometimes reread it. We can’t keep e-mail for a long time as we want.

This is a few of billions of examples I mentioned. In conclusion, both technology and tradition are important and always exist abreast. If people refuse to apply new technology into their life, they would become backward to other people and countries. In contrast, if people put new technology strongly into their life without paying attention to tradition, they would lose and even damage their culture heritages.

According to me , tradition is foundation and technology develops it . It is difficult to compare tradition to technology.
Some people think tradition is more important than technology because tradition is experience , custom which completed for a long time ago . It represents for the age . Tradition makes us imagine ancestor's life that we can't directly see .It includes religion , knowledge , feeling and those are helpfulness . Each country has particular tradition and people in country should be proud of it .
Others and I think technology is more important than tradition because of two following reasons :
Technology makes us communicate together by telephone , telegraph , mail etc . it supplies news to widen our knowledge by television , radio , magazine , news , computer . We can know anything although we stay at home . It makes our life interesting by entertainment , music , digital films , monumental theatres etc . It decreases our stress . As a result , we can't live easily without technology .
Besides , technology hepls our country to develop . A strong country means : ' It has strong technology '
Singapore becomes stronger because everything is computerised . America is well-epuipped by nuclear , weapon . The stronger country is , the stronger economic is and people can earn more easily in strong country than in other country. Moreover , technology helps us to prevent deseases , for example : storm , hurricane , flood . Generally , technology helps us all field , it becomes more important and more important .
I don't think tradition is useless but nowaday , technology also is more important than tradition . We still develop tradition and improve technology too .

Tradition has existed for millions years. It's never forgetful even if the economy is much more developed. Besides that, technology has recently appeared but it decides the development of the country. So which one is more important than that one ???
Tradition is some customs which everybody in the country has followed and preserved for along time. Besides some good customs, there are also some bad customs we have to delete them. Then it doesn't help the economy development.
However, technology is a foundation for education and economy to develop. It produces many modern equipments severing for the life. It creates good condition for the industrial development. For example, people use technology to invent computers. So all of the children nowadays can study many things throught them. They can find many informations which they want. Because of that technology is very helpfull for the life.
Finally, in my opinion, technology is more important than tradition. If people don't have technology, the economy won't develop and the social will become worse.
This is my essays. Please read and give me your advices. And please send it to vic_chicken@yahoo.com. Thank you so much !!! And would you please give your marks for it.

Technology or tradition has different role in our life. In the past, when technology wasn’t improved, tradition was very important. Because of the technology’s development and enlargement, technology is more important than tradition.
In developing countries such as Vietnam, China, Brazil, Brunei, etc technology developing is a reason why life of inhabitants are improved. I have 2 reasons that demonstrate the truth of my argument. First example is that technology make the economics of developing countries expand. Developing countries made use of primitive mineral resources and had to export them to developed countries because they had not enough modern machines to process them. One of valuable mineral resources is primitive oil. When technology was improved, they produced many products such as gasoline, gas by oil. Those products was bought and they brought their country a lot of foreign currency. Second example is a development of medicine. Because doctors and nurses used ultramodern methods and engineries, many serious disease was treated quickly.
In developed countries, a development of technology is very strong so as to satisfy their inhabitants’ demands. Many news technology is appeared in America,Japan each year. They not only satisfy inhabitants’ demands but also bring producers huge profit.
In 20th century, one of important technology is the technology of computers . Computers are improved by many famous American and Japanese producers so people use computer popularly. People can compose e-mail, preserve files, calculate, reseach documents , etc in computers. Nowadays, using internet regularly is necessary that people trade or communicate. It make commerce become conveniently and easily. E-mail help people who lives in different areas can communicate quickly. For example, you are in Vietnam and your boyfriend is in America. You send e-mail to him. He could get your e-mail right away. This is a wonderful thing that traditional mails can’t do.
These are some examples why I think technology is very important. Now, by using news technology you can do many things which you can’t do in the past. It make developing countries expand quickly, developed countries satisfy their inhabitants’ high demands and people communicate easily. Technology is changed and improved fast, so it must have been tradition when news technology appears. You need to develop yourself so that you can use news technology for satisfying your life.

DEAR MICHEAL!
According to me,we can't estimate exactly between technology and tradition which is more important, they have both advantages and disavantages. If we don't have technology we can' live inthe developed sociaty,we can't compare with orther countrieson the world.Look at the orther side, tradition is precious experiences which we inherit from our ancestor,if we don't have traditionwe can't develop technogy.
Technology make us communicate with orther by television, telephone, internet etc,it make our life are more interesting and more convenient .technology can prevent deseases, for example:now we can lasting the life of cancer patients, use lazer in many treatment and in operation .But technologyis too dangerous because with a developed technology human will have a cupidity, they want to be a king of the world,so that they will invent a lot of dangerous weapones cause alot of deaths for people .Technology can make our enviroment polluted that effects to human's life.
Tradition is precious experiences of our ancestor. We should respec it because it is a symbol of country.tradition can make people become happy and friendly together in some traditionnal festival, and attract people in other countries come together for a good relationship. But tradition can make our country backward ,we can catch up with developed countries.
Indeed we can'testimate exactlt which is more important. They modify and develop together,so that both are important for human's life.

Technology or tradition ? This question seems hard to answer because we can not choose one without thinking about the other. On the other hand, both two of them have always been exist together and they keep things conserving their own nature that way.

Technology improves tradition and keeps it alive, but without tradition, techonology becomes meaningless. For example, an ancient drawing needs to be repaired by modern technology , in order to be able to pass through many centuries later, but the drawing will loose its value and also its own character if it has been modified too much from origin, so it has to conserve its origin, and that's also tradition.

Let's taking an another example, Vietnam has been dominated by many countries for centuries and has also infuenced by various cultures. So many cultures have created the only one Vietnam which is attracted by its history and its monuments. But for now, with a thousand of temples, pagodas, and architectures have been degraded, new technology is needed to restore these monuments. Although, they can't be reconstructed thoroughly by maintaining old features like color of bricks, drawings... to keep up the cultute.

I can't tell between technology and tradition, which is more important. To my mind, they have both equal position, technology develops tradition and tradition appreciate technology.
